As Shiori is just a little over one this year, we decided that we should go to the Perth Royal Show, let her experience this once a year occassion first hand. Oh, did I tell you that we bought the ticket when we went on the roadtrip? IGA all over perth has sold out so luckily we asked one of the IGA down south if they have any spare ones to buy, and they did.
We left the house around Midday as we want to make sure that our little baby is fed and had her nap.. It was the last day of Perth Royal Show and really it was JAM Packed.. full of people I tell you.. everywhere we see are a sea full of people. First up, going to visit the children ride and see if there is one that Shiori can hop into but as her balance is not as good as the older children and she is one clucky child, we can not let her go onto the rides all by herself. So, we decided that we will start looking for showbags before they all run out.
There is a lot of walking involved for the whole day. Walking and Carrying Shiori as there are times that she just refuses to go into her pram. We went to see the animal farm so she can touch some Rabbits and Guinea pigs, we visit the Dairy Section and let her try a non-diary ice cream. The Ice-cream experience was awesome.. she loved it and always say her new favourite word "More". Us three meet up with Shiori's favourite Uncle and afterwards all of us stayed in the cafe near the oval just an hour before the Fireworks would start for some Coffee and refreshments as we all KO'd from walking. Shiori fell asleep just before the fireworks start and woke up halfway through and I can tell you she hang on to me like a little koala. Poor little baby, she has not seen a fireworks before and deeply terrified by it. It is in my things to do list. I need to help Shiori in decreasing her level of Fear.
We had great fun this year.. Hopefully next year, we can go again and this time you can be in the rides.
